Thanks for reading.

Hello readers, and thank you for visiting my blog.  My name is B.G. Welch, and as of this writing, I am a journalism student at a tiny little school in northern Missouri.

Growing up miles away from any large (or small, for that matter) city, essentially in the middle of the woods, I developed a love for reading, writing, and most importantly, all things horror related.

From a very young age I found myself building haunted houses in our garage for my younger siblings to “enjoy” and waiting with terrible anticipation for Halloween to come each year.

Once I became old enough to read, I instantly took to authors like Clive Barker, Stephen King, and, of course, the master of terror, Mr. Edgar Allan Poe.

This led to my passion of writing horror. Which (long story short) led to me creating this blog.

I honestly hope there are many “Halloween Fanatics” and Horror fans out there that will enjoy reading my posts. Thanks again for stopping by, and please comment.

gotta love Rob Zombie….The Devils Rejects….one of my all time favorites! What are ur thoughts on this?

    • While I’m not a fan of Rob Zombie’s music career, he does have a certain quality about his directing that the horror industry seems to lack these days, and that’s spookiness.

While he puts a sufficient amount of gore and shock-horror into his films, the ambiance is also dark enough to remind me of the horror movies from my childhood, and they were the best.

I prefer “House of 1000 Corpses” over “The Devil’s Rejects” though.
